Green Bay, Wisconsin – Flooding and slick travel may disrupt commutes across northeast Wisconsin Monday as thunderstorms and over an inch of rain move in. Drivers north of the Fox Valley, especially along Highway 29, should brace for possible standing water and reduced visibility.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, a line of non-severe storms is expected to pass through east-central Wisconsin Tuesday morning. Rain totals may exceed 1 inch in parts of Outagamie, Waupaca, and Brown counties, especially where snowmelt increases runoff into rivers and low-lying areas.

Communities from Green Bay to Shawano could see localized ponding on roads and brief street flooding. The risk is elevated north and west of the Fox Valley, where saturated soil will struggle to absorb more water. Motorists are urged to allow extra travel time and avoid flooded roadways.

As the week continues, rain chances taper off by Wednesday, offering a brief reprieve before more showers arrive Thursday night. Temperatures stay mild through midweek, hovering in the 60s, though patchy frost is unlikely due to overnight lows in the 40s.
