West Bend, WI – A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for an 83-year-old woman missing from West Bend, according to the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
Authorities said Barbara Halpin was last seen Thursday, Sept. 15, 2025, around 2:54 p.m. She is described as white, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 130 pounds, with brown eyes and white shoulder-length hair. Halpin was last seen wearing reading glasses and carrying an old leather shoulder bag.
According to officials, Halpin may be traveling in a 2003 gold Toyota Highlander with Wisconsin license plate ABJ3937. Police believe she could still be in the area or driving outside of Washington County, prompting the statewide alert.
The West Bend Police Department is asking anyone who sees Halpin or her vehicle to immediately call 262-335-5000.
Silver Alerts are activated in Wisconsin when an elderly or cognitively impaired adult is reported missing and believed to be at risk. Authorities stress that quick public awareness can be critical to locating missing seniors safely.
