Wisconsin Shooting at BP Gas Station Leaves Victim Injured; Dane County Deputies Investigate

Pleasant Springs, WI — A shooting at a BP gas station in Pleasant Springs left one person injured Saturday afternoon. Deputies from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of gunfire at 4:47 p.m. at 2763 CTH N.

Deputies found a victim with multiple gunshot wounds and provided life-saving measures until emergency responders arrived. Deer-Grove EMS then transported the individual to a nearby hospital. Deputies also discovered several shell casings at the scene, indicating multiple shots were fired.

The Dane County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit, along with deputies and detectives, processed evidence. Authorities are working to identify the suspect or suspects responsible. Assistance came from Wisconsin State Patrol and police departments from McFarland, Stoughton, and Cottage Grove.
