Milwaukee, WI – Wisconsin residents can expect hazy skies and warm, dry conditions throughout the week due to ongoing wildfire smoke from the west. The National Weather Service in Milwaukee reports temperatures will range from the high 70s to mid-80s. Today’s high temperatures will hover between 78 and 83 degrees statewide, with smoky skies and partly cloudy conditions persisting.

According to the National Weather Service, the smoke will stay in the upper atmosphere, preventing significant air quality impacts. However, the haze will continue into Friday. Temperatures will peak by midweek, with highs expected to reach 86 degrees on Wednesday. Thursday’s highs will range from 82 to 87 degrees, with continued smoky skies and mild, partly cloudy conditions.

The forecast calls for a slight cooldown starting Friday, with temperatures dropping into the upper 70s and lower 80s. The smoky skies are expected to remain through the weekend as warm, dry weather continues across the state.

Drivers are advised to stay cautious of reduced visibility in some areas.
