Bristol, WI – A 21-year-old man was killed in a fiery three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle, a pickup truck and an SUV Wednesday night in Kenosha County.

According to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 8:49 p.m. at the intersection of County Highway D and 184th Avenue in the Village of Bristol. Emergency responders from the Village of Bristol and Town of Paris fire departments joined deputies at the scene.

Authorities say the man was operating a sport-style motorcycle eastbound on County Highway K at high speed when a full-size pickup traveling westbound attempted to turn left. The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the truck before the rider was ejected and hit the windshield of an SUV trailing behind the pickup. The motorcyclist became trapped between the SUV’s windshield and engine compartment, igniting a fire that engulfed both vehicles.

The 21-year-old male rider was pronounced dead at the scene by the Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office. His identity has not been released out of respect for the family.

The operators of the pickup truck and SUV, including one additional passenger in the truck, sustained minor injuries and remained at the scene to cooperate with investigators. Authorities said there was no evidence of intoxication among the surviving drivers. However, excessive speed is believed to be a factor in the motorcycle’s operation.

Due to the fatal nature of the crash, the Kenosha County Major Crash Assistance Team (MCAT) responded to assist with the investigation.

The case remains open, and the sheriff’s office urges the public to drive responsibly and contact 262-605-5100 with any information regarding the incident.
