According to the National Weather Service in La Crosse, scattered snow showers will develop late this morning through the afternoon, producing brief bursts of reduced visibility and minor accumulations . Across La Crosse, Onalaska, and into southeast Minnesota, roads like Highway 53 and I-90 may turn slick during heavier bursts. Visibility could drop suddenly, especially in open areas. Plan extra travel time and keep headlights on during passing snow showers.
