Spring Valley, WI – A 70-year-old man from Spring Valley was taken into custody Monday following an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation, authorities announced.

According to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, detectives arrested James Lloyd Cobleigh after executing a search warrant at his residence in the 3000 block of County Highway T. Investigators said the search was conducted on August 28, when multiple digital devices were seized and later examined by detectives. Authorities allege the review revealed child sexual abuse material.

Cobleigh faces 12 charges in total, including 10 counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of possession of virtual child pornography. Sheriff’s officials said he is scheduled to make his initial appearance in Rock County Jail Court on Tuesday at 3 p.m.

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office emphasized that charges are accusations and Cobleigh is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court, citing Wisconsin Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6.

The case remains under investigation by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau with assistance from the ICAC Task Force. No further details were released.
