Green Bay, WI – Wisconsin residents may face tricky travel conditions tonight as storms and dense fog move through the region, followed by an unseasonably warm stretch heading into the weekend.
According to the National Weather Service Green Bay, showers and storms are possible this evening, with fog developing after midnight. The fog may be locally dense in spots, reducing visibility to about one-quarter mile. Lingering fog should lift by mid-morning Tuesday.
Tuesday’s forecast calls for highs between 63 and 71 degrees, with a 15–25% chance of rain mainly in eastern Wisconsin. Conditions will remain unsettled Wednesday, with highs of 67 to 74 degrees and a small chance of showers across central and eastern areas.
By Thursday, skies turn mostly sunny with highs near 68 to 75 degrees. A warming trend follows into Friday and Saturday, when highs could reach the upper 70s to near 80. Forecasters say temperatures will run 5 to 15 degrees above normal to close out the week, extending late September warmth across much of the state.
Drivers are urged to use caution late tonight and early Tuesday morning, especially in areas prone to dense fog. Visibility could drop sharply, making morning commutes slower than usual.
