According to the National Weather Service in Duluth, the advisory is in effect from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. CDT Wednesday. Snowfall between 1 and 4 inches is expected, with winds gusting up to 35 mph. The affected areas include Ashland, Hayward, Hurley, and surrounding tribal lands, including the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation, the Bad River Reservation, and Madeline Island.
