Fort Wayne, IN – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan as snow and strong winds are expected to create hazardous conditions through late Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service, snow accumulations between 3 to 5 inches are forecast, accompanied by wind gusts reaching up to 45 mph. The advisory began Wednesday evening and will remain in effect until 1 a.m. EST Friday.
Residents in affected areas, including Steuben, Noble, DeKalb, Marshall, and nearby counties in Indiana, as well as Branch County, Michigan, should prepare for slippery roadways and potentially dangerous travel conditions during the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
