The National Weather Service issued the advisory for Cimarron County in Oklahoma and Dallam and Hartley counties in Texas. Snowfall is expected to begin around midnight Friday and continue through midnight Saturday night, impacting cities like Dalhart, Boise City, and Channing.

According to the NWS, total snow accumulation will range from 1 to 2 inches. Roadways, sidewalks, and other surfaces may become slippery, increasing the likelihood of accidents and falls. Drivers are urged to slow down and exercise caution on icy roads.
