PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Dec. 11, 2025, 5:00 PM EST) — The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a Winter Storm Watch for portions of east-central Ohio, southwest and western Pennsylvania, and northern West Virginia, in effect from Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon.

Forecasters warn that a developing winter storm system could bring heavy snow to the region, with total accumulations of 3 to 7 inches and locally higher amounts possible, particularly in the higher elevations of southwestern Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia.
