Winnipeg, MB – Police have arrested two men in connection with a series of armed gas bar robberies reported along the 1400 block of Henderson Highway between June 2024 and September 2025. The incidents involved weapons and repeated threats to employees, though no injuries were reported.

According to Winnipeg Police, officers from General Patrol, the Major Crimes Unit, the Tactical Support Team and the K9 Unit responded to six robberies at the same Henderson Highway business. The most recent occurred September 21, 2025, around 7 a.m., when two men allegedly threatened an employee with a firearm before stealing cigarettes and cash. Officers located the suspects hours later near Main Street and Mountain Avenue, where they were taken into custody.

Police charged Adam Luke Zebrasky, 51, with robbery, possession of a weapon, possession of a prohibited firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order and use of an imitation firearm during the commission of an indictable offence. Anthony Branko Bris, 29, was charged with robbery and use of an imitation firearm during the commission of an indictable offence. Both were detained.

Investigators later determined that one suspect was allegedly linked to five earlier robberies at the same Henderson Highway gas bar, occurring between June 8, 2024, and August 6, 2025. Those incidents involved knives, a firearm or threats of concealed weapons, with cigarettes repeatedly stolen.

On December 4, 2025, a search warrant was executed at a residence in the 1900 block of Rothesay Street. Police say Zebrasky, who had previously been released, was re-arrested and charged with nine additional offences, including five counts of robbery and three counts of weapon possession. He remains in custody.
