WINNIPEG, Manitoba – Winnipeg police said they responded to 11 calls for service tied to threats targeting city schools between Feb. 3 and Feb. 19, 2026, with several investigations still ongoing.

According to the Winnipeg Police Service, the reported incidents involved schools in multiple parts of the city and produced a mix of outcomes, including arrests, youth referrals and files closed without criminal charges.

Police said a report in the 1-99 block of Bournais Drive was investigated and no criminal charges were laid. A separate case in the 100 block of Southglen Boulevard was also investigated with no criminal charges laid, police said.

In the 400 block of Church Avenue, police said a 10-year-old was referred to the Turnabout program in one incident. Police also listed an additional investigation in the 400 block of Church Avenue as ongoing.

Police said a 30-year-old woman from Toronto was arrested in the 1-99 block of Hastings Boulevard. She is facing two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and was released on an undertaking, police said.

In the 400 block of Flora Avenue, police said a 13-year-old was arrested and faces a charge of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. Police said the youth was released on an undertaking.

Police said a 16-year-old was arrested in the 400 block of Scotia Street and faces three counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. The youth was released on an undertaking, police said.

Investigations were listed as ongoing in the 800 block of Selkirk Avenue, the 700 block of Jefferson Avenue, the 1000 block of Cottonwood Road and the 500 block of Chalmers Avenue, police said.
