According to the Winnipeg Police Service, officers with the Central District General Patrol responded to a residence in the 200 block of Furby Street around 11:00 a.m. on November 10 for an unrelated matter. While at the scene, they located a man in medical distress and provided care. Further checks revealed he was wanted in connection with multiple retail thefts and had outstanding warrants for his arrest.
The Property Crime Unit took over the case, determining that between May 15 and October 5, 2025, the suspect allegedly targeted several retail stores within CF Polo Park. The estimated value of the stolen goods was about $20,300.
Dysin Cole Spence, 23, has been charged with numerous counts of theft under $5,000, theft over $5,000, failing to comply with release orders, and several identity-related offenses, including identity fraud and illegal possession of identity cards.
