Winnipeg, MB – Two men are in custody after an Organized Crime Unit (OCU) investigation in Winnipeg’s Tyndall Park area uncovered 7.5 kilograms of cocaine and $150,000 in cash, according to the Winnipeg Police Service.

Authorities said the arrests occurred around 1:25 p.m. on September 10, 2025, when OCU investigators took a 35-year-old man from Calgary and a 31-year-old man from Winnipeg into custody. Police reportedly found the cocaine hidden in an aftermarket compartment inside a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe, valued at approximately $175,000.

According to investigators, officers also discovered roughly $150,000 in Canadian currency in a second vehicle, a 2023 Toyota Rav 4, linked to the same suspects. Earlier that day, police had received intelligence from the Manitoba RCMP’s Roving Traffic Unit about possible intraprovincial drug trafficking headed toward Winnipeg.

Police allege the suspects were involved in a suspected drug transaction in the Tyndall Park area before being arrested. The two vehicles were searched, leading to the seizures of both drugs and cash.

Joshua Michael Hahn, 35, of Calgary, and Alexander Vicedo, 31, of Winnipeg, have been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine) and Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000. Both remain in custody.
