Winnipeg, MB – Two men are facing multiple trafficking and firearms charges after a major drug bust in Winnipeg’s Westdale neighbourhood, police announced this week.
According to the Winnipeg Police Service, the Guns and Gangs Unit executed a warrant on a residence in the 00-99 block of Shepton Bay shortly before 6 p.m. on October 18, 2025, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team. Officers seized seven firearms, a large amount of drugs, and approximately $114,000 in cash.
Investigators say the search uncovered one kilogram of cocaine, one kilogram of methamphetamine, 359 Percocet pills, and 12 grams of psilocybin, along with drug packaging materials and digital scales. Police also confiscated several shotguns and rifles, including a Winchester Model 94-30 and a Cooey Machine & Arms shotgun.
A 55-year-old man and a 52-year-old man were arrested at the scene. Both face multiple counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000, and unauthorized possession of firearms.
Police say the investigation began earlier this month and targeted drug trafficking activity in the Westdale area. The accused remain in custody as the investigation continues.
