Winnebago County has launched a hotline for residents affected by recent storms. Supported by the City of Rockford, Rockford United Way, and the American Red Cross, the service aims to connect residents with essential resources and agencies.
According to the Rockford Police Department, the hotline, staffed by Rockford United Way volunteers, operates from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be reached at 815-516-2947. While some resources may not be immediately available, information will be collected, and residents will be informed once assistance is accessible. Currently, no local, state, or federal funding is available for individual clean-up and restoration efforts.
