Weathersfield, VT – A Weathersfield man was arrested this week following a late-night domestic assault that prompted multiple 911 calls and a joint response from county and local police.
According to the Windsor County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded just before midnight on Tuesday, Oct. 7, to reports of a disturbance on Bean Hill Lane. Sheriff’s deputies reportedly returned to the location several times overnight, assisted by the Springfield Police Department.
Investigators determined that Nicholas Brown, 45, of Weathersfield, had allegedly committed aggravated domestic assault, domestic assault, and interference with access to emergency services, authorities said.
Deputy Michael Keefe arrested Brown on Oct. 8. He was transported to the Springfield Police Department, cited, and held without bail. Brown was then lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield.
Court records show Brown is scheduled to appear in Windsor County Court in Woodstock on Friday, Oct. 9, at 1 p.m. A mugshot was taken following his arrest.
