Duluth, MN – The National Weather Service in Duluth is warning residents across northern Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin to brace for bitterly cold air and strong winds moving in Friday night through the weekend.
Temperatures and wind chills will plunge to dangerous levels, with frostbite possible on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

- Wind Chills: As low as -35°F in parts of northeast Minnesota, including International Falls, Ely, and Grand Marais, from late Friday night through Saturday morning.
- Air Temperatures:
- Saturday highs: Below 0°F across most of the region.
- Saturday & Sunday mornings: Negative teens and 20s, with subzero wind chills persisting all weekend.
- Cold Weather Advisories remain in effect, with additional warnings possible as the Arctic air deepens.
