WILMINGTON, Ohio – Southwest and central Ohio are enjoying a stretch of seasonable fall weather, with mild afternoons and crisp nights continuing through midweek before a slight cooldown arrives Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, afternoon highs today will reach the upper 60s to lower 70s under mostly sunny skies and light northwest breezes. Skies will stay clear tonight with lows dipping into the upper 40s and low 50s, providing a comfortable fall evening for outdoor activities across the Miami Valley and Tri-State region.
Thursday will turn slightly cooler as weak high pressure builds in behind a passing disturbance. Highs will settle in the mid to upper 60s with light winds and continued dry conditions. The NWS expects quiet weather to hold through Friday before a stronger front brings increased cloud cover and a chance for rain heading into the weekend.
Travel and outdoor plans across interstates I-70, I-71, and I-75 should have no major disruptions through Thursday. Farmers and gardeners can continue field work and harvest operations with dry soil conditions expected to persist.
