According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, slow-moving showers and thunderstorms are expected to bring rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall throughout the day. Rainfall totals are predicted to range between 1 to 1.5 inches, with some areas potentially receiving over 3 inches.
