Williamson County, IL – A burglary investigation led Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies to recover a stolen Harley-Davidson motorcycle and arrest a suspect tied to multiple thefts.
According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies first responded to a residence on Peach Lane in Carbondale on November 25, 2025, after a homeowner reported a burglary. Investigators found signs of forced entry and learned several items — including a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, water heater, and wood stove — had been stolen.
Nearly a month later, on December 23, 2025, deputies were called to another Carbondale residence on Mallard Lane for an eviction-related property retrieval. While on scene, they reportedly spotted a motorcycle in a garage that matched the description of the stolen Harley-Davidson. After confirming the vehicle identification number had been altered, deputies verified it was the same motorcycle reported missing from the earlier burglary.
Deputies arrested Terry W. Pulliam, who was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle (Class 2 felony) and theft (Class 3 felony). Pulliam was taken to the Williamson County Jail pending further proceedings.
