Marion, IL – A long-term narcotics investigation in Williamson County led to the shutdown of a suspected drug house in Marion Wednesday evening, resulting in two arrests and multiple felony charges.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies executed a search warrant around 4:26 p.m. on the 300 block of South Future Street. The operation followed several controlled purchases of cocaine allegedly made by one of the suspects.

Inside the home, investigators reportedly recovered additional quantities of cocaine and evidence of ongoing drug distribution. Deputies arrested 37-year-old Traveon I. Loving and 45-year-old Karalyn M. Cline, both of Marion.

Loving faces multiple Class X and Class 1 felony charges, including conspiracy to deliver and manufacture or deliver a controlled substance. Cline faces similar charges for conspiracy to deliver and possession of a controlled substance.

Sheriff Jeff Diederich commended his team’s efforts, stating that this investigation reflects the department’s commitment to removing illegal narcotics from the community. “Drug activity brings with it a host of related crimes that erode the safety of our neighborhoods,” he said.

Both suspects were taken to the Williamson County Jail, where they remain in custody pending further court action.
