Frankfort, IL – The 2024 Frankfort Bluegrass Festival is set to host an exciting instrument raffle, offering participants a chance to win high-end musical instruments. The raffle, which aims to support the free, non-profit festival, features a grand prize of a Bourgeois DB Signature Custom Brazilian Rosewood and Aged Tone Adirondack Spruce guitar valued at $19,199.
According to Eventgroove Fundraising, the raffle offers additional prizes including an Eastman MD615-GB F-style mandolin and a Deering Goodtime 2 Art Deco banjo. Ticket sales began on June 25 and will be available until July 11. The winners will be announced on July 14 at 6:30 p.m. during the festival in downtown Frankfort, IL.
All proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Frankfort Bluegrass Festival, scheduled for July 13 and 14. The festival showcases premium national and regional bluegrass acts, emphasizing acoustic music education.
Participants can purchase raffle tickets online, with options ranging from $5 for one entry to $250 for 60 entries. Tickets are also available at Down Home Guitars, located at 11 S. White St. in Frankfort. Instruments will be displayed at the store, allowing potential winners to see the prizes firsthand.
