Joliet, IL – Joliet’s holiday festivities took an unexpected turn after three reindeer were reportedly stolen from the Joliet Slammers stadium earlier this week. According to a statement from the Slammers, a “Grinch” drove off with the animals, intended for display at the Glow Holiday Festival.
The incident has left the community shocked and eager to identify the culprits. Joliet Police Department is working closely with the Slammers to investigate and recover the missing reindeer. Security footage shows two pickup trucks potentially involved in the theft. Authorities urge the public to help identify the vehicles and their drivers.
As an incentive, the Slammers are offering a cash reward, to be donated to a charity chosen by the informant. Additionally, the person who provides information leading to the reindeer’s recovery will receive a 20-person suite at the Glow Holiday Joliet event.
