Morris, IL – The Morris Fire Protection and Ambulance District is mourning the loss of one of its own after a firefighter/EMT was killed in an off-duty motor vehicle crash over the weekend.

According to the Morris Fire & Ambulance Protection District, Firefighter/EMT Aaron Jaime, age 34, died Saturday, December 13, following a motor vehicle crash. Jaime had been a full-time member of the District since May 2025 and previously served as a 10-year member before becoming full time.
