Channahon, IL – The Channahon Police Department has launched its first annual Christmas Food Drive, running now through December 19, 2025, to support Stepping Stones Addiction and Mental Health Treatment Center.

According to the department, donations will help provide meals, personal care items, and gifts to local individuals and families in recovery this holiday season. Community members can drop off items Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., inside the Channahon Police Department lobby at 24555 S. Navajo Drive.

Requested donations include non-perishable food items, personal care products, and new unwrapped children’s toys. Collection bins are located just to the left of the lobby entrance.

The drive underscores a growing local effort to combine public safety and community wellness initiatives in Will County. “We’re coming together to help individuals and families in our community find hope and support,” the department shared in a statement.
