Will County, IL – A Peotone man was killed Saturday evening in a crash on Wilmington Peotone Road.
According to the Peotone Police Department, the accident occurred around 5:08 p.m. when a minivan collided with a semi-tractor truck and trailer, causing severe damage to both vehicles. The driver of the minivan, a 49-year-old male, was found unresponsive and later pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The driver of the semi-truck was unharmed. The Will County Accident Reconstruction Team and the Will County Emergency Management Agency assisted at the scene. Wilmington Peotone Road was cleared and reopened by 11:30 p.m.
