Wichita, KS – Chances for rain showers will return Sunday evening and last through Monday as mild temperatures continue across central, south central, and southeast Kansas. Highs Sunday are expected to reach the low-to-mid 60s, with late-day rain moving in.
According to the National Weather Service in Wichita, Monday will feature off-and-on showers throughout the day, with highs ranging from 57–60 degrees and morning lows in the upper 30s to mid-40s. Rainfall amounts are expected to remain light but may impact the morning commute in some areas.
A strong cold front arrives Tuesday, bringing breezier conditions and noticeably cooler temperatures. Highs Tuesday will drop into the 50–61 degree range before falling further mid-week. Overnight lows behind the front will plunge into the 23–32 degree range.
Wednesday turns colder with highs only in the mid-40s to upper 40s, and lows dipping into the mid-20s. Thursday remains cool but dry, with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s under partly sunny skies.
The shift marks the return of more seasonable late-November weather as the region edges toward Thanksgiving.
