The warming trend becomes more pronounced on Monday, when highs are forecast to climb into the low to upper 50s, with overnight lows rising above freezing into the lower to mid-30s. By Tuesday, Wichita could see high temperatures between 60 and 65 degrees, marking the warmest day of the upcoming period. Breezy conditions may redevelop Tuesday as another weather system passes nearby, though no significant precipitation is expected.
Temperatures are forecast to cool slightly by Wednesday, with highs returning to the upper 40s to low 50s, while breezy conditions continue. Despite the fluctuations, the National Weather Service reports that dry weather is expected to dominate across central and south-central Kansas through midweek.
