Wichita, KS – After a cloudy start, skies will gradually clear across Kansas today, setting up a mild and pleasant Saturday, according to the National Weather Service in Wichita.
Afternoon highs are expected to reach the upper 50s to low 60s, with Wichita, Hutchinson, and Emporia all topping out near 60°F. Areas farther north, including Salina and Topeka, will stay slightly cooler under a few lingering morning clouds.
By tonight, conditions will remain calm with mostly clear skies and overnight lows falling into the upper 30s and low 40s, ideal for late-fall outdoor events and stargazing.
The dry and mild trend is expected to continue through Sunday before cooler, unsettled weather returns early next week as a new system approaches from the west.
