Concord, NH – When do clocks fall back across New Hampshire this year? Residents in Manchester, Concord, Nashua, Portsmouth, and Keene will turn their clocks back one hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2025, as Daylight Saving Time officially ends across the Granite State.

According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, New Hampshire will return to Eastern Standard Time through early March 2026. The annual “fall back” adds an extra hour of sleep for residents but signals noticeably earlier sunsets for the weeks ahead.

In Manchester, sunset on Sunday will arrive around 4:33 p.m., while Portsmouth and Nashua will see dusk near 4:35 p.m. Commuters are advised to plan for darker drives home beginning early next week.

Local fire departments also remind residents to check and replace smoke and carbon monoxide detector batteries during the time change—a long-standing public safety habit promoted nationwide.

Daylight Saving Time will return on Sunday, March 8, 2026, when clocks “spring forward” by one hour.
