Little Rock, AR – When do clocks fall back across Arkansas this year? Residents in Little Rock, Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Jonesboro, and Hot Springs will turn their clocks back one hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2025, marking the official end of Daylight Saving Time across the Natural State.

According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, Arkansas will return to Central Standard Time through early March 2026. The “fall back” gives residents an extra hour of sleep, but it also brings shorter days and darker evenings statewide.

In Little Rock, sunset on Sunday will occur around 5:13 p.m., while in Fayetteville and Fort Smith, dusk will arrive closer to 5:17 p.m. Eastern Arkansas cities like Jonesboro will see sunset near 5:08 p.m., and along the southern part of the state, El Dorado will darken around 5:15 p.m.

Fire and emergency officials across Arkansas urge residents to check smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and replace batteries while changing clocks—a simple safety step encouraged nationwide each fall and spring.

Daylight Saving Time will resume on Sunday, March 8, 2026, when clocks “spring forward” one hour again.
