Wheaton, Ill. — The City of Wheaton Government has posted parking restrictions for the weekend of June 20 during the Eid Fest.Â
The festival will take place at the DuPage County Fairgrounds on Manchester Road.
From Friday, June 20, until Sunday, June 22, the following streets will be closed for parking.
The east side of Hazelton Avenue between Manchester Road and Childs Street will be blocked off. The east side of Beverly Street from Manchester Road to Childs Street will also be closed. Additionally, there will be no parking allowed on the east side of Erie Street between Manchester Road and Childs Street.
To enter the Eid Fest, the City of Wheaton has instructed all drivers to take County Farm Road using the main DuPage County Government Center entrance. The Manchester Road entrance will also be closed during the event. Parking will be available on the west side of the DuPage County Fairgrounds and on the parking deck.
The ICNA Eid Fest starts Friday, June 20, at 4:00 p.m. and ends on the evening of Sunday, June 22, at 10:00 p.m. The festival features a carnival, petting zoo, bazar, inflatables and food. The entrance fee is $5 per person but parking at the event is free.
