Wheaton, Ill. — The Wheaton Park District will host a pop-up event to promote their new mobile app. The first 200 people to download the app and show a park district staff member will receive a free phone wallet.

The pop-up event will be on Tuesday, July 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Residents can arrive at the Wheaton Park District Community Center during this two hour window to show a park district staff member the app on their phone at the front desk. Staff will also be available at the pop-up to answer any questions residents may have about using or setting up the app on their device. The app will be available to download on July 15.

The park district’s new mobile app provides access to register for programs, access household IDs, manage passes and memberships, purchase digital tickets, receive notifications and manage communication preferences. The app will be one-touch single sign-in.
