Union Pacific has notified the Wheaton Police Department that the train, stalled on the tracks, is obstructing all crossings from Hale Street to President Street. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to reroute via West Street near the train station, which remains open, or alternatively, to use the Manchester/Bridge Street bridge.

The blockage is anticipated to persist into the evening, and authorities are urging the public to exercise caution and adhere strictly to safety protocols around the downed gates.
