Wheaton, Illinois — The City of Wheaton notified residents and local drivers of parking restrictions in effect this weekend for the DuPage County Fair.
Beginning Thursday, July 24, through Sunday, July 27, there will be no parking on many streets around the DuPage County Fairgrounds. Parking is provided on the west side of the DuPage County Fairgrounds and the parking deck.
The south side of Beecher Avenue between Birch Drive and Westwood Drive will be closed, as well as both sides of Beecher from Westwood Drive to Graf Park Entrance. The east side of Westwood Drive and the west side of Birch Drive will be unavailable for parking.
Both sides of Manchester Road from Hazelton Avenue to Knollwood Drive will be closed to parking. Parking is also restricted on the east side of Beverly Street and Erie Street between Manchester and Childs Street.
The east sides of Shirley Court, Vernon Avenue and White Oak Drive will be closed. Between Manchester Road and Child’s Street, the east sides of Pierce Avenue, Morgan Avenue, Dorchester Avenue and Woodlawn Street will be blocked off for parking. The east side of Knollwood Drive between Manchester Road and Liberty Drive as well as both sides of Hickory Lane will not have public parking.
