Wheaton College Opens New Associate Director of Development for Athletics, Appoints Football Coach

Wheaton, Ill. — Wheaton College announced this week that longtime football coach Jeff Peltz has been appointed as the Associate Director of Development for Athletics. This is a new position within Wheaton’s Development Office.

Peltz has been a football coach since 1982, and he currently serves as a defensive line coach. Peltz was also previously the Wheaton College Postmaster, a role from which he retired on June 30 in taking this new position. Peltz has been the Postmaster since 1982 as well. Peltz is a Wheaton graduate from 1981. He spent all four years playing for the Wheaton Thunder football team and had an impressive career. While working at Wheaton, Peltz has also headed the Wheaton Football MInistry Partnership since 2000. 

The new Associate Director of Development for Athletics is responsible for navigating relationships with alumni, parents and friends to support Wheaton Athletics. Peltz will work with the Advancement Division and Athletics Department to increase giving. Peltz will begin working in this role in September.
