Spring Creek Township, PA – Nearly two decades after Charles Russell Beltz disappeared, Pennsylvania State Police are renewing efforts to solve the case, now offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to answers.
Beltz, a Pitcairn resident, was last seen in June 2005 when he told his wife he was going to Clear Creek State Park in Elk County to fish and hunt coyotes. His vehicle was later discovered along River Road in Spring Creek Township, but there was no sign of him. Despite extensive searches, no evidence has been found.
According to Pennsylvania State Police Troop C – Ridgway, Beltz was 56 at the time of his disappearance. He had green eyes, partially gray hair, and wore a gold wedding band with a diamond on his left ring finger. He also had scars on his knee and back and was missing both big toenails.
Authorities urge anyone with information to contact PSP Ridgway Station at 814-776-6136 or submit anonymous tips through 1-800-4PA-TIPS (8477). The $5,000 reward remains available for credible leads that could bring long-awaited closure to the case.
