Pittsburgh, PA – A late-summer sizzle is building across Pittsburgh, with temperatures forecast to climb near 90 degrees by Saturday. But not before a midweek dip in conditions, as a brief window of sprinkles moves through the region Wednesday into early Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday and Tuesday will remain dry and mostly sunny with highs climbing from 86°F to 88°F, and calm winds gradually picking up from the east and southeast. Light showers could briefly interrupt the stretch late Wednesday, particularly before 2 p.m., though totals are expected to remain minimal.

Travel and outdoor activities shouldn’t see major disruptions, but commuters may want to keep an umbrella handy midweek. Humidity levels are expected to rise slightly as the week progresses, fueling a summer-like surge into Friday and Saturday with highs reaching into the upper 80s and possibly hitting 90°F by the weekend.

No watches or warnings are currently in effect, but updates may follow if midweek moisture trends increase.
