Pittsburgh, PA – A chilly start to the week is expected across western Pennsylvania, with temperatures rising steadily through midweek before rain moves in later.

According to the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh, a mix of rain and snow showers is possible Monday morning before dry conditions settle in for much of the week. Highs will reach the low 40s on Monday before climbing to 63°F on Tuesday and peaking at 72°F on Wednesday.

While the first half of the week remains relatively dry, rain chances increase significantly by Thursday. Forecast models indicate a 40-75% chance of rain throughout the day, bringing potential travel disruptions and wet conditions across the region. Temperatures will hover in the 50s and 60s before dropping into the mid-30s overnight into Friday.

Residents are advised to prepare for fluctuating temperatures and shifting weather patterns. The midweek warmup provides a temporary break from colder conditions, but those with outdoor plans on Thursday should monitor the forecast for potential rain-related impacts.
