Pittsburgh, PA – Residents across Western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, and northern West Virginia can expect a stretch of dry, sunny weather through Sunday, with above-seasonal temperatures bringing a taste of late summer warmth.

According to the National Weather Service Pittsburgh, high pressure will dominate the region through the weekend, keeping skies mostly clear and rain chances near zero. Afternoon highs are forecast to climb into the low to upper 70s, peaking near 78 degrees on Saturday and Sunday in cities such as Pittsburgh, Morgantown, and Zanesville.

Thursday began with cool morning lows in the mid-40s before warming to the mid-70s by afternoon. Similar conditions are expected Friday, with highs again topping out around 75 degrees. By Saturday, temperatures may reach 78 in several locations, with sunshine holding strong throughout the day. Overnight lows will remain seasonably cool, dipping into the upper 40s to low 50s.

The weather pattern is expected to hold through the weekend, offering ideal conditions for outdoor events, travel, and early fall activities across the tri-state area. Commuters and travelers should see no major weather impacts on regional roads and highways.

Looking ahead, temperatures will begin to ease slightly into early next week, but conditions should remain drier than average to start October.
