Buffalo, NY – Western New Yorkers can expect a stretch of fair and dry weather this week, with above-normal temperatures holding through midweek before a cooler pattern sets in by Friday.

According to the National Weather Service Buffalo, highs will range from 75 to 85 degrees from Monday through Thursday, with overnight lows in the 50s. Skies will remain mostly sunny, offering ideal conditions for outdoor activities and commutes.

Wednesday may bring a few more clouds with partly sunny skies, but temperatures will still reach the lower to mid-80s. By Thursday, the sunshine returns with highs again near 80 degrees.

A noticeable change arrives Friday as a cooler air mass settles into the region. Highs are expected to dip into the mid-60s to mid-70s, while overnight lows fall into the 40s and lower 50s. The day will feature partly sunny skies, marking a shift toward more seasonable mid-September conditions.

The extended outlook suggests a dry week overall, with no significant rain expected through Friday. This weather pattern is typical of late-summer transitioning into fall across Western New York.

Residents across Buffalo, Erie County, and the surrounding region should prepare for warm afternoons early in the week and consider light layers by Friday as temperatures trend downward.
