
Buffalo, NY – A much drier airmass will settle over western New York today, bringing cooler and less humid conditions through the weekend. According to the US National Weather Service Buffalo, residents can expect partly to mostly sunny skies with temperatures ranging 5 to 10 degrees cooler than normal.
A stray shower is possible this afternoon east of the Great Lakes, but widespread rain is not expected until the middle of next week when summer’s humidity returns. Today’s high temperatures will be in the mid-70s across much of the region, with lows in the low 60s.
The extended forecast shows a continuation of pleasant weather. Friday will see sunny skies with highs around 77°F and lows near 59°F. The weekend will warm slightly, with Saturday and Sunday reaching highs of 81°F and lows in the low 60s. Humidity remains low, making for comfortable outdoor conditions.
Monday and Tuesday will remain mostly dry, with temperatures rising to the low 80s. However, cloud cover increases, and by midweek, there is a 45% chance of showers on Wednesday, followed by a 40% chance of rain on Thursday. Highs will stay in the upper 70s to low 80s.
