Grand Rapids, MI – Western Michigan is set to experience a mix of weather conditions today and in the coming days, with scattered showers, thunderstorms, and a significant rise in temperatures.

According to the US National Weather Service Grand Rapids, partly cloudy skies are expected today with scattered showers and thunderstorms. The chance of rain today is between 20 and 40 percent, particularly inland away from Lake Michigan. Highs will generally be in the low 80s with light and variable wind.

Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday will bring sunny skies with highs around 87°F, while Sunday will see a 45 percent chance of rain with temperatures reaching up to 88°F. The weather will heat up on Monday with partly cloudy skies and highs around 90°F.

The early part of next week will see fluctuating weather, with a 45 percent chance of rain on Tuesday and highs around 81°F. By Wednesday, sunny skies are expected with temperatures cooling to about 77°F. Thursday and Friday will continue the trend of sunny weather, with highs in the mid-70s to low 80s.

The weekend forecast for Grand Rapids indicates clear, sunny skies with highs in the low 80s, making it a perfect opportunity for outdoor activities. By the following Sunday, temperatures will hover around 83°F with sunny skies.
