Michigan residents will wake up to stormy conditions on Sunday night, but the thunderstorms will clear by Monday morning in Grand Rapids. By 9 a.m., the skies are expected to brighten, bringing mostly sunny weather for the rest of the day. Winds will still be strong, gusting up to 32 mph, especially along M-6 and I-96, so commuters should remain cautious during the early part of the day.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday’s temperatures will reach around 70°F, and winds will gradually ease throughout the day. As the afternoon progresses, skies will clear, setting up a cool but pleasant night with lows around 45°F.

Tuesday will bring even more sunshine, with cooler temperatures reaching 63°F. Winds will be lighter, making for a calmer day across the region. By midweek, residents can expect clear skies and comfortable fall weather, with highs in the mid-60s through Wednesday. The quick clearing after Sunday’s storms means most of the week will offer favorable conditions for outdoor activities and travel.
