Paducah, KY – Another cold front will move through western Kentucky tonight, bringing a reinforcing shot of cold air and possibly a few light flurries, according to the National Weather Service in Paducah. While measurable snow isn’t expected, the system will usher in another stretch of below-normal temperatures lasting through the weekend.

Overnight lows will fall into the 20s, with daytime highs struggling to reach the mid-30s on Thursday and Friday. Cold, mostly cloudy skies will dominate the next few days before a gradual warming trend returns early next week, bringing highs back into the 40s by Monday.

Forecasters say a couple of minor flurry rounds may develop over the weekend, particularly in the Evansville, Marion, and Hopkinsville areas, though no significant accumulations are anticipated.

Residents should prepare for several days of brisk mornings and chilly afternoons, and be cautious of slick spots during early commutes.
