Highs today are forecasted to range from the upper 70s to the upper 80s, with most areas experiencing temperatures mainly in the 80s.
The hourly forecast for Des Moines indicates a mostly sunny start with temperatures gradually rising from 68°F at 7 a.m. to a peak of 86°F by late afternoon. The likelihood of precipitation increases to 55% in the early afternoon, tapering off by the evening.
The extended forecast suggests that Thursday will see clear skies with a high of 86°F, while Friday and Saturday will be warmer, with highs nearing 88°F. Sunday may bring isolated showers but will remain warm with a high of 89°F. The start of next week looks to be hot and sunny, with temperatures climbing to the low 90s.
