Memphis, TN – Warm and dry conditions will continue across the Mid-South this weekend, but changes are on the way by early next week.
According to the National Weather Service Memphis, temperatures across the region will remain in the middle to upper 80s through Tuesday, with sunshine dominating most of the forecast. Cities including Jackson, Jonesboro, Memphis, Oxford, Paris, and Tupelo are all expected to see highs between 85 and 88 degrees during this stretch.
Rain chances are expected to gradually increase beginning early next week, ranging between 15 and 30 percent by Monday and Tuesday. By the middle of next week, a cold front will sweep across the area, bringing slightly cooler conditions. Forecast models suggest highs will dip into the upper 70s to low 80s Wednesday through Friday.
The National Weather Service emphasized that dry conditions will persist through the weekend, making this a favorable stretch for outdoor activities before rain returns. However, residents should be prepared for shifting weather patterns next week as moisture increases and temperatures begin to moderate.
